Upperline Code offers a summer fellowship for passionate educators interested in learning to code and to teach computer science. For many of our instructors, they’ve said that working with us has transformed their classrooms and given them a whole new way to look at tech education. We’re looking to hire more teachers this summer than ever before and would love your help sharing this opportunity with the ITP community!

Learn and Teach With Upperline Code This Summer
As an Upperline Code Teacher Fellow, you’ll learn the principles of software engineering, and then get a chance to practice your new skills by co-teaching our summer programs for middle and high school students, and early college age students.
At Upperline Code, we are deeply committed to providing fun, challenging, immersive professional development for teachers because we believe that the quality of our instructors is the most important determinant of student outcomes. Learn more about the positions and apply to teach at upperlinecode.com/teacher-fellowship. Our priority application deadline is January 18.
Have any questions? Join our information session on January 11.
CS teachers are also encouraged to apply for our fellow position – we’ve worked with educators with all levels of CS experience.
We’re also looking to hire some TAs who have extensive coding experience. This position is for seniors in high school and college students who are focusing on pursuing CS-related degrees (perhaps good for the IMA students). If you know of any young adults that might be a good fit, we’d appreciate you passing along the job description and encouraging them to apply.
