Interactive Media Arts (IMA) is a rigorous undergraduate program that combines practice-based and scholarly work in order to explore the social and cultural possibilities of emerging media and media creation. Our department is engaged in creative scholarship with research in design, software development, immersive media, robotics, electronic music, physical computing, data visualization, digital fabrication, games, and tangible and digital media. Our seminars combine the theoretical study of the history, philosophy, and politics of emerging media.
