There are two student job descriptions for the summer months with the Office of Diversity at Tisch: Student Resource Management Assistant and Student Web Publishing Assistant (Handshake login required to view positions). Student Resource Manager:
- Evaluate existing resources to determine which need to remain, be updated, or be removed based on their relevance and effectiveness.
- Ensure that digital resources are consistent in format (PDF, DOC, etc.) to facilitate ease of access and use.
- Assess and organize digital storage solutions to optimize space and ensure efficient retrieval of resources.
- Develop and implement a systematic naming convention for resource categories to enhance organization and accessibility.
- Identify and add new resources to the current list, with a particular focus on materials related to accessibility and disability inclusion.
Student Web Publishing Assistant:
- Develop clear and engaging data visualizations to support diversity reports and presentations.
- Assist in creating and integrating graphics for the Office of Diversity’s web pages and online materials.
- Contribute to the design and layout of the updated version of our annual diversity report.
- Assist in the creation and design of promotional and informational materials for Fall semester events and initiatives.
- Utilize platforms such as Google Sites, WordPress, or other web publishing tools to manage and update the Office of Diversity’s online presence.
- Ensure all digital designs and web content meet accessibility standards to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
