I’ve been asked by a large retailer to produce an interview style show, and while I have several strong ideas, I know I’ll need filming and production support to execute them properly. I’m looking to hire a paid intern or part-time producer who can help with filming and editing.
To clarify, this is a journalism-style, interview-based video project that will be hosted on a social media platform. I haven’t finalized which platform yet, as part of the opportunity is exploring what format and distribution make the most sense with the student involved.
The role itself is production-focused rather than web development. It involves filming interviews in a live retail environment and editing that footage into social-first video content. The emphasis is on capturing strong conversations, maintaining an editorial tone, and shaping interviews for social distribution.
The timeframe is flexible but expected to begin planning next month and maybe shooting in March. Hopefully, we’ll to continue through the summer depending on fit and project momentum. I’m looking for someone who’s interested in hands-on experience with interview production, storytelling, and social media–hosted journalism.
