Web Producer/Developer
ALM is looking for Web Producer/Developer who will be responsible for a number of ALM websites, including Law.com, The American Lawyer and The New York Law Journal. The ideal candidate will assist in the production and development on multiple projects, assess project plans and scopes, and will potentially have some management responsibilities. Responsibilities will also include daily production work supporting publishing and site management and the management of other small projects.
The Web Producer will be joining a team of 12 based both in NY and San Francisco. The Web Production and Design team is a group of individuals who are enthusiastic about their work. The team dynamic is fun, supportive and hard working. Come join a great team that has been becoming more of a centralize team that supports the entire company.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of prior web production experience
- Adept with CSS, JavaScript, XHTML and HTML, as well as web standards as recommended by the W3C
- Knowledge of JavaScript/AJAX, ActionScript 3.0
- Knowledge of XML and XSLT
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with content management systems and web publishing is a plus as well as experience with Fatwire
- Experience with Web Development in JSP or other platforms
