My name is Kevin St. John and I am the head recruiter for InSITE, which is a joint fellowship program between NYU and Columbia students. I want to make sure that all of the new ITP students are aware of the opportunity. In the past, ITP hasn’t been included (as you can see below from last year’s description), but I want to change that.
Description: InSITE is a two year Fellowship program comprised of exceptional graduate students from top New York Universities (including Columbia and NYU business, law, engineering, computer science graduate school students, as well as PhD candidates and post docs from other top NY graduate programs such as Memorial Sloan-Kettering) who are interested in technology, entrepreneurship and venture financing. Our core programming is a combination of education, experiential learning and projects, and engagement with leading practitioners, VC,s angels, entrepreneurs, and technologists. In addition to the programming, Fellows collaborate with a dozen early stage entrepreneurs seeking a first round of venture capital financing and serve as advisors to refine business models and hone pitches. Since 2000, our clients have raised more than $270MM in venture funding with exits in excess of $130MM.
