Freelance Interaction Designer Needed: DUMBO, Brooklyn
We are looking for an exceptionally talented interaction designer to join our six-person team of creatives and coders on a freelance basis. This would be an on-site position, working from our studio in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

Role:
You will be working closely with our creative directors on a range of project types, including websites, web applications, mobile applications and more. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of our projects: from strategy and design research, to prototyping and iterating on design solutions, to the execution of final deliverables and collaborating with our development team.
You:
- Are creative and detail-oriented, with awesome aesthetic taste and excellent communication skills.
- Have exceptional typographic and layout skills.
- Have significant experience designing for digital mediums, specifically user interface design for websites and web applications, for both desktop browsers and mobile devices.
- Have a strong understanding of User Experience fundamentals, and a passion for designing digital experiences that are both beautiful, and a joy to engage with.
- Are comfortable with design research, finding precedents, assembling type, image and color studies, and rapidly prototyping and iterating on design solutions.
- Are really good with Adobe’s Creative Suite (specifically, Photoshop and Illustrator).
- Have at least a cursory understanding of HTML/CSS (the more development skills the better), and a solid understanding of how the things you design will be built.
- Are comfortable working on a team, both “owning” complex deliverables with minimal guidance, and leveraging collaborative workflows when needed.
