My name is Natalie Gavello and I work at Silicon Valley venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins (KPCB), where we’ve helped build world-changing companies like Google, Genentech, Twitter, Amazon, Nest, Square and many other startups. Some of our more recent investments include Uber, Airbnb, Pinterest and Doordash.
Seven years ago, we launched a program called the KPCB Fellows Program (www.kpcbfellows.com). The program offers outstanding college students an opportunity to gain significant experience developing their leadership skills all while being mentored by a design company executive at startups like Uber, Airbnb, Flipboard and many others. This month, we’ve opened up our Design Fellows application on kpcbfellows.com and wanted to seek out your help in finding the best young design talent for the program. It would be great if you could let students know about the KPCB Fellows program and encourage them to apply on our website, as well as pass the opportunities onto the appropriate campus departments. NYU has a lot of great students and it would be great to have them represented in the program!
Applications will close on January 31, 2018. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at ngavello@kpcb.com.
Best,
Natalie
