Senior Producer, AmDoc Interactive
Report To: Executive Producer, POV Spark
The Senior Producer of Interactive will oversee day-to-day tasks related to POV Spark programs and projects, with a specific focus on the interactive strand of the department. This includes expanding into strategic demographics and platforms while cultivating artists, industry and the larger creator community to expand the breadth of POV Spark / AmDoc Interactive. This position will work with and support the Executive Producer in creative decisions and strategy.
Core Responsibilities:
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Building and managing interactive productions to ensure proper creation, execution and impact, which will include:
- Defining scope and strategy, in alignment with Executive Producer
- Project and production development
- Mentorship of artists
- Outreach strategy
- Market launch, amplification and maintenance
- Tracking and analysis metrics
- Create and support partnerships in and outside of POV Spark to amplify department’s mission statement, through:
- Exposing interdisciplinary creators to new opportunities with the POV Spark Lab program and incubator
- Mentoring staff and interns on interactive innovations production
- Align with the Associate Producer to support departmental endeavors, which will include:
- Support across AmDoc Interactive programs
- Database upkeep
- Submission tracking
- Building out additional digital events throughout the year and within festivals
- Supervise outreach, submission process and project selection, including:
- Call for Entry outreach and advertising
- Organizing info sessions, panels, screenings, and other events
- Scouting at local festivals and markets to give info on program and meet projects
- Project tracking
- Working with Executive Producer to follow up on industry leads to identify strong potential applicants
- Represent POV Spark at various Festivals and Markets
- Manage all seasonal digital interns
