Visual effects designer wanted for short film

Former ITP faculty =
and game designer Eric Zimmerman is making a short film with director David =
Kaplan. The film a live-action short, set in a future where the distinction =
between video games and reality is breaking down. The film is funded by ITVS=
/PBS out of San Francisco, and will be distributed online and possibly on te=
levision as well. We’re looking for a visual designer to put in some effects=
to be integrated with the film.

 – The effects are motion grap=
hics, primarily text-based and in 2D.
 – The designer would probabl=
y use AfterEffects or similar software.
 – Design would take place =
in September, and production in October.
 – The designer would colla=
borate with the filmmakers, but with lots of creative freedom.
 – T=
he film is low budget, but there is a project fee for the visual effects des=
igner.
