DATA SCIENTIST, MOBILE APP DESIGNER AND BACK-END DEVELOPER, DATA ANALYST
Skills requirements
DATA SCIENTIST REQUIREMENTS:
- A drive to make a difference by engineering software solutions quickly and creatively. If you don’t know something, a willingness to just figure it out using any and all the resources available.
- Solid programming experience in Python & data training. Knowledge or the curiosity to learn other languages and/or frameworks as needed: ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Python, etc
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of integrations third-party APIs to the App
- Knowledge of data models, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, availability
- Experience with cloud-based multi-host back end systems that can support up to millions of mobile end users
Data-Scientist- Ph.D. students are highly encouraged to be part of FoodSwap
- Strong Deep Learning experience (Neural Networks, deep learning frameworks, etc.)
- Knowledgeable with regards to distributed computing (distributed systems / distributed programming / distributed algorithms)
