JOB: Dataviz intern or junior designer at Pentagram

Description:
Pentagram’s New York office is seeking a full-time junior data visualization designer or intern to work with
partner Giorgia Lupi.
Giorgia is looking for a designer with at least 2 years of experience and/or recent graduates.
Requirements:
You:
● have a degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related fields
● are a designer who works with data, primarily in Adobe Creative Suite, and have worked on data
visualization design projects
● already have the expertise and technical skills to prepare/process data with a spreadsheet
(Python or R Studio a plus) and to translate them into visualizations
● have proven expertise in designing rich data visualizations in Adobe Creative Suite (beyond
standard charts)
● have experience in searching for publicly available datasets online and know how to craft
data-narratives from an editorial perspective
Coding skills related to dataviz environments are a plus but not required. This person will primarily work
with data as a graphic designer with Adobe softwares, and not as a front-end developer.

experiences. Prior agency experience is helpful but not required.
