As Eyebeam embarks on its digital-first initiative, having shed our physical space and working mostly remotely, we seek innovative designers and developers who know about Eyebeam’s voice, audience, history, and ethics-driven values to work with us towards creating this new digital home.
Specifically, we are looking for a designer, a developer, or a studio that does design, development, or both.
Design Specifications

Visual design expert to help us craft our user experience, including:

Knowledge of or willingness to learn accessible design.

Has a portfolio demonstrating a clear ability to meet design specifications.

Has experience working directly with developers and some working knowledge of how design translates to code
-
Ability to provide a design document/guide with measurements that translate to HTML/CSS

Deliver a mobile-first design, pixel-perfect to mobile, tablet, and desktop/laptop, with a full design document specifying sizing for all elements on all devices.

Generally, the more specific your design proposal can be, the better.

Development Specifications
We currently use Svelte.js for our front-end, drawing data from Sanity CMS. Familiarity with front-end frameworks similar to either Svelte.js or React.js and use an advanced CSS library like SCSS or Tailwind for styling.

A website developer/expert who is familiar or very comfortable working with our current stack:

Sanity Pro CMS.

Svelte.js/SCSS front-end.

Experience working with visual design specifications,

Comfortable communicating with non-design/technical staff.

Comfortable communicating with developers/technical staff.
