Director of Multi-Platform Development
- Responsible for directing all multiplatform projects for Scholastic’s Trade group
- Coordinate and collaborate with editorial and marketing on the design and development of cost effective, financially viable products
- Create business cases, financial projections and oversee P&L’s for new multiplatform projects
- Monitor, inform and collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams on new digital technologies and trends which may serve as the basis for new publishing programs
- Manage all web/digital development and operations of www.the39clues.com by working with eScholastic
- Inform the digital product definition The 39 Clues Part 2; incorporate new technical innovations
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing in the development and management of new and existing multi-platform relationships, specifically Trackers and Skeleton Creek
Requirements
- 8-10 years media experience; 5 years in digital publishing and marketing
- 8-10 years project management experience
- Proficiency in site mapping, wire-framing, user experience and web design
- Demonstrated successful experience managing teams including PMO, producers, designers, and agencies
