1) User Experience Designer: Visual design support for all online properties of clients e-commerce websites as well as new products, prototypes, mobile apps, blogs, desktop applications. Day to day stuff: promos, fun page takeovers, widgets, UI experiments, some branding exercises from time to time. The right candidate will be a strong visual designer, extremely detail oriented with great understanding of user experience and ecommerce. Colorful, clean, simple, fun esthetic, think Lego, Apple, Netflix. A lot of the work is about improving current user interfaces visually and strategically. Heavy hands on, fast, expert in Photoshop and Illustrator. An understanding of web technologies, trends, and social aspects is important. No coding experience required. Great if you have 3d experience, Illustration and animation skills. The team consists of few creative leads. Monday through Friday, about 40 hours a week or so. Regular office hours
2) Information Architect: is responsible for specifying navigation, organization, and interaction design with a user-centered focus. You’ll be working with another IA as well as a team of designers and business analysts to create product interfaces for college instructors and students.
MUST have experience in: web-based application design, conceptualizing task flows, creating wireframes, rapid prototyping, devising solutions based on user research providing quick-turnarounds using OmniGraffle (Visio is okay, but we will convert you!) Photoshop, be comfortable with presenting your work and challenging/be challenged by your peers. Use modern applications, visit modern sites as a part of your daily life. This is primarily a Mac shop.
3) Senior UX Designer: responsible for all information architecture for all web, product and online interactions. In this role, you will be expected to work collaboratively with a project team and support the Design team in the execution of all information architecture deliverables. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, manage their own deliverables, and be the voice for the user on all projects. The Senior UXD must be able to bring to the team and clients a good knowledge of current trends and industry best practices. This is a firm that services the Pharma industry and pride themselves on creating websites that are considered highly engaging and interactive across any industry while still placing the user first.
4) Web Designer: 3 days a week for an open ended amount of time. My client is a high end fashion company so Fashion experience is a plus! Must have Flash and clean design aesthetic.
5) Art Director: Agency in NY looking for a talented Art Director to help with a pitch for a client. AGENCY experience is a must! 4 to 6 weeks onsite in NYC
