Business Analyst

CondéNet extends
the traditional editorial excellence of the Condé Nast
magazines into online brands — engaging an educated, upscale and passionate
audience. CondéNet’s award-winning lifestyle-oriented web sites such as
Style.com, Wired.com, Men.style.com, Epicurious.com, Flip.com,
NutritionData.com and Concierge.com bring the editorial excellence and renowned
brands of Condé Nast Magazines to digital media.

The Business
Analyst will play a key role in Web site development as part of the Product
Management team. He or she will analyze, recommend, gather and document
requirements and assist in testing requirements for Web site features.
Responsibilities include:

* Interviewing stakeholders to quickly understand the business requirements and technical challenges of a project
* Designing and managing page designs, wire frames, process flows, taxonomies and other functional documentation needed to effectively communicate product requirements to the project team
* Identifying, tracking, reporting and helping to resolve design system issues with the larger project team
* Writing and performing user acceptance tests to ensure all requirements are implemented in the end product

Minimum
Qualifications:
* 4+ years experience working on the development of a high-traffic, consumer-facing Web site. Online publishing experience preferred.
* Demonstrated information architecture skills, experience and understanding of best practices
* Demonstrated experience and ability to design, capture and document product requirements through wire frames, process flows and functional specifications
* Demonstrated ability to write and perform user acceptance tests
* Demonstrated project and program management skills
* Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to lead meetings with senior-level business stakeholders and other cross-disciplinary teams in groups and one-on-one settings
* Understanding of domain and URL structures, natural search optimization techniques, ad delivery and ad targeting issues; experience in a Doubleclick DART for Publishers environment preferred
* Understanding of current Internet technologies and industry trends with an emphasis on social networking and user-generated content
* Experience working as part of an agile/Scrum development team
* BS; computing, information technology or a related field preferred
