A huge number of large and small musicians, labels, managers, agents, and ot=
her companies around the world use FanBridge to manage and communicate with =
their fans via email and text message.
Job Description:
Interns will work in our SoHo office and=
assist the company in all areas but focus primarily on marketing. Given the=
hands on nature of this position, this is a great way to gain real, hands o=
n experience in a rapidly growing music/tech company. You will be directly i=
nteracting daily with everyone from the founders to the clients, and this ca=
n definitely lead to a paid position if you are awesome.
Specific job tasks might include:
– Researchin=
g potential clients or partners
– Researching potential mark=
eting channels
– Evaluating new web 2.0 sites/technologies
– Writing copy for promotions
– Helping manag=
e our social network pages
– Helping our clients use the pla=
tform more effectively
– Assisting our client service team
– Assisting our tech team with testing new features– Communicating with clients via phone/email/twitter/etc
Skills Required:
– Must be a self-start=
er who combines a high level of creativity/initiative with strong organizati=
onal skills
– Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook=
, and advanced internet skills
– Experience with social net=
works (MySpace/Facebook)
– Should have interest or experienc=
e in online marketing
– Effective problem solver who can wor=
k with minimal supervision
– Strong written and oral communi=
cation skills
– Ability to work in a team environment, handl=
e multiple tasks, and complete tasks quickly and effectively
– Experience with or knowledge of current music trends and internet based m=
usician tools is a plus
– Experience with html and photoshop=
is a plus
– You must have your own laptop you can use (mac =
or pc)
