About the Job
Small software company is seeking a candidate to fill a Bilingual
Project Manager opening in San Francisco CA. The position entails
working at a customer site as a member of a small energetic services
organization located overseas. As a bilingual speaking Product Manager
(Strong technical English and Spanish skills are a must have), you
will create and deliver requirements to the remote engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the development
and management of software products and services. A strong background
on web applications is a plus. The Product Manager must have a blend
of interpersonal skills and technical savvy and be comfortable working
directly with technical engineering teams. Ability to coordinate and
maintain multiple projects at once is essential and excellent
organizational skills are a must for this position.
Responsibilities:
– Manage projects using agile scrum development methodologies
– Drive the communication between development and customers
– Design, develop and deliver projects on time, with delighted
customers and a happy team
– Meet regularly with product and business owners to define project
specifications
– Explain client specifications to remote teams in Spanish
– Develop project time estimates
– Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to
the development team
– Manage multiple deliverables (software, kits, training materials,
documentation, etc) that come together to launch a new product
– Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to customers
– Help ensure project quality and performance standards
Required:
– Authorized to work in the U.S.
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
– 2+ years in role of project manager using a formal software
development methodology
– Experienced full project lifecycles from concept to delivery
– Direct managerial responsibility for 2+ individuals
– Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
– Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Demonstrated leadership capacity in multi-disciplinary
environments
