About the Position:
The New Business (Sales) posi=
tion at Oddcast is a critical role in the company and demands a diverse skil=
l set. The position is responsible for driving revenues, establishing deep r=
elationships with the advertising/brand/publisher community. This person wil=
l also be responsible for meeting quarterly sales goals, and should be comfo=
rtable presenting in person and over the phone to top agency and advertiser =
contacts.
Responsibilities include:
=95 Develop new agency/advertiser leads within key categories
=95 Cultivate relationships with leads sourced via market=
ing activities
=95 Present marketing ideas and technology=
capabilities to highlight the potential exposure of brand to clients and ke=
y decision makers
=95 Achieve quarterly sales growth
=95 Utilize internal sales platform to track/manage sales act=
ivity
=95 Update supervisor continuously on activity and =
solicit support as required
=95 Grow knowledge of industr=
y and competition
About the Candidate:
Strong communication and organizational skills are essentia=
l. The right candidate will be highly motivated, intelligent and be capable =
of functioning with little direct supervision. The candidate should have bet=
ween 2 and 5 years of proven sales/business development experience in Intern=
et media sales, the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and will=
preferably come armed with a rolodex of contacts that can be called upon. P=
rior experience selling ad units to agencies and/or publishers is a major pl=
us.
