SMS COPYWRITER

Job description:
The SMS copywriter works in a creative partnership with the game master to conceive develop and produce effective sms messages for mobile marketing campaigns. While the game manager deals mainly with the concept definition, it is the copywriter’s task to compose fun and persuasive texts (within the constraints of sms messages) that will maximise participation in each campaign. The copywriter needs to be able to establish a virtual dialogue with the participants and convey the feeling that the campaign is live and that each participant is addressed individually.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- meeting with the game masters team to discuss client requirements and background to the campaign
- creating storylines and ideas
- writing clear, persuasive and creative messages in English, in a very limited space (160 characters)
- carefully proofreading to check spelling and grammar
- keeping up to date with popular U.S. culture and trends
Job Requirements:
- Higher level education (in copywriting, media, journalism or marketing)
- Creative, fun, outgoing character, witty
- In touch with current affairs, society, popular culture in the U.S.
- Characterized by productivity, creativity and organization skills
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Able to relocate to Greece for at least 1 month (duration may extend to even 3 months)
Duration & Salary: Full time employment (8h./5d) for three-four months with a competitive salary and benefits (accommodation food allowance – transportation expenses airfare included) starting immediately.
