INTERN: Web Development Intern for Ralph Appelbaum Associates

WEB DEVELOPMENT INTERN

Ralph Appelbaum Associates, an award-winning museum exhibition design in lower Manhattan, has an immediate opening for a smart, motivated and energetic student for a web development internship. This opportunity is for academic credit or paid opportunity if academic credit cannot be received. The internship is ideal for students in computer sciences and/or interactive telecommunications. Responsibilities will include assisting the web developer and development team with programming of web sites and other electronic publications and applications.

The skills required are proficiency in the following:
–  HTML (hand coding)
–  CSS based layout
–  JavaScript (basic ability to code)

as well as basic to medium skills in the following:

–  PHP 5.0+
–  MySQL
Other programs, such as Flash and ecommerce are a plus.
