Job: Account Executive Position NJ/NYC

I have a full-time position open for an IT Account Executive. Job description is below.

Target markets: NJ and NYC, we have offices in PA, Central NJ and soon NYC.

This person will be working closely to me and will be focusing in selling Offshore Software Development, Product Engineering and Interactive Services.

Job Description

– New business development.

– Research and investigate new opportunities and sales leads in an effort to expand account base and sales.

– Contact assigned key accounts and prospective customers to establish relationship, and ultimately, close sales.

– Account/Opportunity Management.

– Prepare forecasts for territory.

– Close business to hit targets.

– Work with partners and team to scope and manage the solution sales cycle.

– Attend IT industry events.

– Maintain up to date records on trends, the IT industry, competitors, etc.

– Conduct executive level sales presentations.

– Prepare quotes pricing and contract terms.

– Manage overall customer relationship and take ownership of all opportunities and customer issues.

– Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within CRM package for use in forecasting.

Skills

– 3 to 7 years of relevant account management/sales experience in the IT services industry, preferably with application development outsourcing.

– Proven track record of achieving success/exceeding sales targets and goals

– Self motivated / highly driven

– Ability to take initiative and manage time effectively

– Willingness to travel

– Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills

– Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives.

– Prospecting and hunting skills are a definite must

– Ability to execute sales strategies and consult with customers on solutions.

– Ability to develop an account base, establish relationships and close viable business opportunities.

– Ability to understand rapidly evolving technology and its application to a customer’s business problems or projects.
