Overview

Our New York office is looking for a UX intern to join our user experience team in support of our three offices in San Francisco, New York and London.

Responsibilities
-A UX Intern is responsible for supporting other Method UX designers in creating excellent user experience design and deliverables for Method projects according to user-centered design principles and Method standards.
-A UX Intern will work with other Method UX designers to execute user experience tasks, as directed by the project UX lead, Director, or UX Designer including project planning, research and analysis, requirements definition, product and interaction concepts, interaction specifications, and validation testing across a variety of platforms, including the Web, mobile devices, television, and product interfaces.
-The User Experience Intern will use his or her time on Method UX projects to learn and refine user experience design skills and Method practices and standards. 

Skills/Qualifications
-Ability to work well within a dynamic team environment
-Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
-A portfolio which exhibits problem solving in the various phases of user-centered design
-Comfort collaborating with multiple stakeholders and functional disciplines
-Ability to take direction and meet deadlines
-Strong design aesthetic/understanding
-Excellent verbal and written abilities
-A passion for great design work
-Professional references from similar studio environments
-Proficient in CS3 or later InDesign on the Apple OS platform
-Candidates should have or be close to completing a BA or MA in Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, or HCI or related, or have professional experience in Interaction or UX design.
