My business partner from Warrior and I recently moved out to NYC and are trying to get a new retail ecommerce project off the ground. A members-only ecommerce platform (like Gilt) which integrates a crowd sourcing component to help generate word of mouth and source products.
We are putting a team together (partnering with a top marketing agency) and need at least 1 tech guy. We need a working prototype of the site ASAP, as we want to get in front of investors. At first I thought a design mock up would be enough, but I think it just makes sense to start building a working demo with functioning back end as well. I like the layout/usability of Aprizi. Basic, functioning site which looks clean.
We need regular web development and implementing the layout to html. Unfortunately I do not know much about programming myself, so if someone can look at the Aprizi model and suggest what the coding should be, how it will all work, etc. that would be ideal.
We can offer to pay, but are unsure as to the total amount we can commit; so if we can discuss a bit more what we want and understand a bit more what they are capable of, then hopefully we can figure out a price that makes everyone happy.
