E-Learning Development/ Graphic Arts Intern – Health and Hospitals Corporation

This position will support a team of Organizational Development professionals in the design, development, and implementation of learning solutions, including online training, learning management system administration, traditional classroom delivery, website design, and other projects as needed.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in Dreamweaver, Flash8/Flash CS3/Flash CS4, HTML, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, CSS, Adobe Illustrator, Captivate
  • Understanding of Adult Learning principles and theories
  • Programming skills for e-learning standards and practices
  • Instructional design and delivery skills
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Good visual design skills
  • Capacity to work independently, but also collaboratively at times
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic, mySQL, java script, PHP, Action Script, and Learning Management System Administration a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development of interactive, creative web-based training
  • Assess effectiveness of training programs using measurable outcomes
  • Collaborate with Organizational Development team in the implementation of other staff and organizational development initiatives as needed

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.  Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree is acceptable, if experience compensates for lack of degree.

Intern will work 20-25 hours per week; work day is 8am to 4pm.
