Responsibilities:
Product ideation and exploration
Create and present user experience concepts to a broad audience and assist with keeping the UX team on target
Leading other team members to identify tasks
Concepts and creates visual design UX solutions
Collaborates with directors, art directors, architects, and designers
Will be an integral member of the UX team’s creative process, delivering world class customer experiences
Additional Responsibilities on senior role:
Will provide UX Visual Design leadership, support and expertise
Will help to define project approach
Track project milestones, deliverables and risks with the UX team
Will collaborate with the UX team throughout and project lifecycle, facilitating and driving UX solutions and participate in ideation and concept explorations
Liaison between members of the UX team, managing & identifying UX specific project visual designs
Will take the lead on external vendor communication directly related to visual design support
Some mentoring and coaching of designer on UX skills
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5-10 years experience
Strong background designing Internet and/or mobile interactive experiences
Proven ability to successfully prioritize, organize, manage and lead multiple projects under tight deadlines
Bachelors Degree in HCI, Computer Science, Design or equivalent work experience
Must have excellent facilitation, brainstorming and collaboration skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be passionate and show a desire to innovate
Experience as a design lead, developing products to large consumer base
Must have an expert portfolio showcasing web, mobile and multi-media design
Experience in an agency environment is a huge plus
Strong track record of product dev-oriented projects
Must have an expert knowledge and understanding of the most recent version of Photoshop and Illustrator
Knowledge of CSS, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, After Effects, GoLive, 3d Software, iWorks and Microsoft office
Experience designing robust Flash & HTML web sites and/or mobile with intuitive or deep UI’s and navigation schemes
Knowledge of UX industry best practices
