INTERN: WIKA Summer Internship

WIKA is seeking applicants for summer interns. We are looking for interns that can help develop WIKA’s growing social media presence and conduct research for WIKA’s new marketing strategies.

Candidates should have strong writing and communications skills and be savvy with the arts and culture scene in NYC and beyond.

Qualifications:

-Ability to set up + design facebook pages, twitter accounts, and other social media platforms.

-Comfortable in HTML and CSS. Other programming languages would be a plus.

-Ability to link and connect social media platforms with the public.

-Ability to think creatively and outside of the box.

-Confidence in conceptually initiating, designing, and deploying experimental social media strategies that will gain public interest. These may include but not be limited to spontaneous events, scavenger hunts, temporary websites, social web games, performances, etc.

– Ability to conduct and analyze research for new business opportunities – this will include investigating potential clients, writing emails, assembling marketing documents, and going to social events and meeting people.

-Knowledge of illustrator and photoshop is a plus.

-Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel is a must.
