JSP Expert- Web Engineer/Developer
Job Description:
Demandforce is looking for an outstanding Web Engineer to join our engineer team. The product has been incredibly successful… we are rapidly growing and may double in the next 12 months if not triple in the next 18 months. This individual will be responsible for front-end JSP work on a Tomcat/MySQL/Linux stack. Our ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated, self-starter looking to join an exciting growing company where contributions make a difference.
Responsibilities:
§ Develop, test, maintain, and support innovative software-as-a-service portal products.
§ Work closely with senior platform engineers on product design and architecture.
§ Frequent interaction with a variety of product development, including product management, software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and customer support.
§ Work in all phases of a rapid product development lifecycle.
Required Skills/Experience:
§ Expert JSP development skills with 3 or more years of experience.
§ Strong Javascript skills: including OOP development in JavaScript, ability to work with and improve JavaScript frameworks, and an understanding of RIA technologies. At least 1 to 2 years of experience.
§ Familiarity with J2EE environments, particularly Apache Tomcat.
§ Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
§ Knowledge of SQL queries.
§ Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
§ Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Why ‘7’ + 4 gives ’74’ whereas ‘7’ – 4 gives 3
How do you manage cookies via ajax?

Pluses:
§ Experience with Linux, MySQL, Spring, and Apache.
§ Experience developing large software systems.
§ Experience with SAAS products.
Preferred:
* Work experience in a fast paced start-up experience
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and experience.
