Hello ITP,
We are looking for a web designer / developer that could reconfigure an existing flash site for the 21st century. ProMotion Pictures has been a joint venture between NYU Grad Film and Stern for about 7 years, but now that ITP is involved, they need a new website more than ever. We’d like to highlight the interactive abilities of what people in our program have to offer to complement the narrative films we’re showcasing that came out of the collaborations between Grad Film and Stern.
Some specs:
- Content Management System backend. We need this site to have a mix of static pages, and pages we can easily update.
- Client Login and Student Login. We’d like the ability to post sensitive documents that are password protected.
- HTML5 compatibility is a plus. If not, at the very least we’d like an embedded player to showcase highres video.
- 1 month timeline if possible. Site should definitely launch by January.

This is a paid gig, and you would have a lot of artistic freedom in terms of updating the logo and look to the site. Plus, it’s for a great program that funds a lot of student projects. This semester ProMotion is organizing a pitch contest sponsored by Subway where two teams will receive $40K to make their films.
