Initiated by the RCUK Energy Programme the project is investigating the co-design of technologies relating to energy demand reduction within communities. You will play a key role in devising and implementing the technical infrastructure for design prototypes and systems, and support the deployment and initial field research of this platform. The role requires close collaboration with a team of designers and as such you should have relevant experience of, or a desire to work in a creative academic setting.You will have a first degree and postgraduate qualifications (or equivalent experience) in computer science or electrical engineering (or a related technical discipline). You will enjoy practice-based research and be passionate about exploring new social and cultural contexts for interactive technology.
