Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coordination of Technical projects within the ELC Online Global Technology Department.
- · Assist in managing the resourcing and scheduling of concurrent small to large scale projects (online and offline)
- · Assist in defining requirements and planning project lifecycle deployment
- · Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation including project deliverables, goals, milestones
- · Assist in coordinating with producers and the Infrastructure & Technology Group
- · Participate in the technical portion of projects (both domestically and globally)
- · Research and investigate controls and processes based upon new technologies, techniques, and emerging trends
- · Efficiently identify and solve project issues
- · Escalate technical problems to senior members of the team
- · Excellent Documentation Skills
- · Create and maintain new and existing technical project documentation
- · Implement various methodologies such as Waterfall, SCRUM, RUP on small to mid-sized projects
- · Strong organizational and presentation skills
- · Work with globally distributed teams
- · Work with the minimum amount of supervision
- · Proficient in MS Project
- · Proficient in Visio
- · Proficient in MS Office
Requirements:
- · Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Project Management and Technology based development / support with specific focus on Software Development (ie Waterfall / Agile) and Hardware Infrastructure and Systems
- · Strong leadership skills
- · Strong command of English language, both oral and written
- · Excellent self-tasking and team work skills
- · Practical experience with one or more of the following preferred, but not required:
- · Knowledge of e-Commerce systems
- · Knowledge of Compliance Standards and auditing (PCI / SOX)
- · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience
