[INTERN] Product Architect, Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners

Product Architecture

KBSP is looking for a Product Intern to join its Product Development team. Product Development
is responsible for managing a marketing product’s life cycle from start to finish. Current
products take the form of web sites, mobile apps, hardware installations, social media
programs, e-commerce storefronts, etc.

A great intern would be able to support Product Architects in a variety of activities.

Some responsibilities of the Product Intern would be:
• Participating in brainstorms/workshops/hot-houses during the development of an idea
• Collaborating with Product Architects to research and develop business requirements
• Maintaining internal and external business documents
• Creating feasibility assessments based on an evaluation of various technologies
• Working with producers to create proposals and SOWs for new client work
• Developing prototype hardware and software
• Documenting work from the team
• Helping to develop and maintain team documentation and coordination processes
• Maintaining the Hardware Lab

The Product Development Group touches most disciplines in the agency and is the perfect role
for a person who is comfortable working with and able to understand the many roles within an
agency.

• You’re enthusiastic
• You like to do research, you like to know how things work
• You are not timid, you like working on things that are hard
• You have excellent organizational skills
• You like working with people that have a diverse set of skills
• You know about popular technologies (facebook, twitter, foursquare, etc) and their uses
and limitations
• You have an understanding of various programming languages and patterns
• You have some coding experience and have built projects on your own
• You have a curiosity around technology and explore it even in you free time
• You ‘re working towards a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mba-
operations, mis, creative technology or equivalent experience
• You have a pleasant attitude
• Documentation is your friend
