New York City Economic Development Corporation (“NYCEDC”), in connection with the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, is seeking financially sustainable and innovative proposals from qualified individuals, organizations or companies to develop, market, and manage the “Made in NY” Media Center (“Media Center”), a media hub that will foster innovation and content creation, strengthen sense of community and networking opportunities, and promote economic development in the media sectors in New York City (the “City”) by:
a) providing affordable workspace to emerging media entrepreneurs and companies
b) providing adjacent space for educational and networking programming to workspace users and the broader media community, and
c) facilitating collaboration across various media industry segments and participants
NYCEDC, in consultation with MOME, intends to select a winning proposal or proposals on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff (and/or subcontractors, if any) identified in the proposal, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP, and proposed contract price.

Submission Requirements
Detailed submission guidelines and requirements are outlined in this RFP, available as of March 27, 2012. In addition to being able to download the document above, the RFP is available for in-person pick-up between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from NYCEDC, 110 William Street, 6th floor, New York, NY (between Fulton & John streets). Responses are due no later than June 15, 2012. Please submit 12 of your proposal to:
