Media Internship:
We are seeking dedicated, creative interns who are interested in music and media. Our two primary sites are Uncensored Interview and The GUESTLIST (in partnership with Getty Images Music). Our company works with all areas of the music industry, from record labels to broadcast networks, by licensing video content and music tracks. Interns’ responsibilities will include working with our content archive, conducting music research, managing partner deliverables (e.g. new album tracks), liaising with outside media companies, working with on-set talent, reviewing music, writing blog posts and at times, attending partner meetings.
We will provide guidance on media research, training on production work, and background on content rights and industry standards. Our company is small, but all staffers have extensive media backgrounds and are looking to cultivate talent. You will be immersed in areas of business, creative and operations so you must have a passion for learning; be well organized; be savvy in the digital space; and be capable of working independently.
Candidates must be available at least 2 days per week. The internship is unpaid but school credit is available.
