Access Intelligence, a leading worldwide information and marketing company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Web Developer, to be based in our New York office. This developer will work closely with our business leaders to develop a variety of web-based products, enhancements, and new features across the various brands of our company.
The qualified candidate will have a 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field, excellent oral and communication skills, and must have at least 2 years work experience (post academic) and demonstrated proficiency in PHP, MySQL 5, and JavaScript. The candidate must be a self-starter, who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working with people. They must able to juggle a variety of projects concurrently (both large and small), while meeting tight deadlines and clients’ expectations.
Candidates demonstrating additional experience and proficiency in any of the following areas will be given special consideration:
- WordPress — plugin authoring, theming
- Magento E-Commerce Software — theming, customization
- Salesforce REST API
- Moodle E-Learning Platform
- Social platform integration — Disqus, Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter APIs, etc.
- Semantic tagging technologies — OpenCalais, etc.
