[INTERN] Future World- Creative Design Summer Internship

Creative Design Internship- NYC (Remote)

 

Future World Media a New York-based media company focused on the development, ownership and production of original film, television, web and gaming properties through strategic partnerships and international co-productions. We are currently in production on the branded web series, “The Bartenders” and our event production company Bartenders Global hosts the events for the show. Our pilot was shot at The Sundance Film Festival, and this summer we will be filming numerous entertainment, sports, fashion and philanthropic events as the show and season progresses.

 

Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a creative design intern. Someone that knows their way around the web, the hottest websites, tech-savvy and knack for detecting the latest trends in visual arts, entertainment and sports. Intern should have a passion for Social Media and technology and enjoy providing visual solutions to the online brand needs of our clients.

The creative design intern should be a student looking to get their degree in the field of graphic/web design with hopes of pursuing a career in this field. This internship will be a hands-on experience, as the intern’s design work will contribute to all of our company’s current projects, as well as involving all aspects of new media PR (i.e. concept development, research, writing and editing web copy, Facebook, twitter, etc.). Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor program
• Must be able to receive college credit for internship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, WordPress, & Microsoft Word and have basic understanding of HTML and JavaScript.
• Heavy user of as social media sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Reddit and del.icio.us., etc.)
• Entrepreneurial skills, especially a knack for finding new ways to reach online audiences

Logistics
• Ideally we would like students who can devote 5 – 15 hours per week.

• Can work remotely

• This is an unpaid position with the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of sports and entertainment management and new media PR.
