Jack Morton Worldwide, a leading global brand experience agency, is looking for an Android Developer for an augmented reality app to be used as a tie-in at a series of live events. The core functionalities the app will be leveraging are camera, GPS, and accelerometer.
Catching “Object X” Android App
Objective: Create a fun and engaging app where users will have to “catch” a target object on a mobile device. When the app is opened, the user’s camera is activated. Specified GPS location(s) will trigger a video overlay (we will provide animation). The objective of the game will be to “catch” said animated object within a specified on-screen target. If the object is within the target scope, the user is able to flick the device to catch it. Upon successful completion, a congratulations screen will appear with a promotional message.
Clicking through this final screen refreshes the game. This can be a menu option rather than an on-screen option.
Each GPS location will have a specified code/message to be displayed. All iterations will use the same animation.
