Sago Sago is seeking a talented artist/animator to join our team creating digital toys for young children. The animator will work with our artists, designers and developers to create software that is beautiful and fun.
Responsibilities:
- Create sketches and storyboards in collaboration with creative team.
- Generate beautiful and fluid character animations based on 2d artwork.
- Create additional background and prop artwork as needed.
Key Skills:
- Character animation. Working with flat 2d stylized designs, the animator needs to breathe life into our characters. This requires an ability to generate smiles and giggles through movement.
- Motion graphics. Ability to create beautiful and whimsical transitions based on 2d designs.
- Artwork. Ability to extrapolate existing artwork and mimic its style.
- Technical. Mastery of Adobe Flash and related digital media tools. Good understanding of digital animation fundamentals.
Also an asset:
- Genuine enthusiasm for learning new skills and making beautiful software.
- Hands-on experience preparing assets for mobile applications.
- Editing expertise using Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar software.
- Experience with 3d tools such as Maya, Blender, or Unity.
- Sense of humor of a six-year-old.
