Sago Sago is seeking a talented and passionate interactive designer to join our team creating digital toys for young children. The designer will play a crucial role working with our artists and developers to create software that is beautiful and fun.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all software is visually beautiful, consistent and polished.
- Generate and refine game concepts within a collaborative environment.
- Play an active, hands-on role in graphic asset production.
Key Skills:
- Visual design. Ability to use typography, colour and form to create beautiful screen-based designs.
- Interface design. Understanding of interactive media design principals, best practices and process.
- Technical. Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite software and related digital media tools. Good understanding of digital media fundamentals.
Also an asset:
- Genuine enthusiasm for learning new skills and making beautiful software.
- Hands-on experience preparing assets for mobile applications.
- Experience in kids media, entertainment, education, or changing diapers.
- Good with puppet shows, crafts, lego, cupcake parties, and related activities.
- Likes to tinker.
