I’m looking for an assistant to work with me on a participatory performance project at the New Museum’s IDEAS CITY Festival Saturday May 4.
I need 8 hours of prep and 1 day at the festival.
My project is titled
Immortal Plastics / Necrocracy
“Tools and services to assess your entanglement with hydrocarbons”
We will have a small tent, in which we’ll be doing “intake” on voluntary participants:
a survey form and an archival photodocument of all the petrochemicals found on a person (clothes, wallet contents, handbag, etc)
You should be willing to be social, and “official.” Photo skills a plus. I will supply some sort of uniform.
I am hoping to brainstorm / work out the details with you.
I have $200 to offer (the festival offers no support but hopefully it’ll be fun)
