BiblioSmart LLC, a new digital media tagging and search company, is seeking several talented UX designers who are interested in designing user experiences that make good use of the rich capabilities of Android and iPhone/iPad graphical user interfaces. We are making tools to navigate, search and tag digital media libraries of music, photography and video files, using Android devices such as Samsung Galaxy series and HTC Droid phones, as well as iPhone/iPad. As digital media libraries expand and multiply on computers, hand-held devices, networked media storage and cloud servers, it is becoming rapidly more difficult to navigate and find digital media. Our priority is to make user-centered experiences that are intuitive, and make good use of the rich capabilities of the current generation of devices. The challenge for the UX designer is to create an innovative way for users to navigate a large number of media files on a small screen, making good use of the rich set of touch events and gesture capabilities on these devices.Email Alexander B Struminger <alex@struminger.com> to find out more.
