Tapad has a solid financial base and we’re growing at an insane rate. This would be a phenomenal job for a new grad or an alumni looking for work. They’d have a chance to really build something and work with some edgy technology. Tapad (http://www.tapad.com/) we do digital advertising, specifically cross-device targeting. This means we try to ID users across all their Internet-enabled machines and deliver ads them on all these different devices. The company is growing extremely fast and we need help with a UI redesign.
New York Headquarters-SaaS User Experience Designer / Visual Designer
- Work closely with product and engineering to develop interaction models, user work-flows, UI wire-frames and workable mock-ups
- Generate end to end graphic designs (look and feel) for key feature areas and application interfaces
- Develop consistent UX principles and UI guidelines spanning devices, applications, and form factors
- Participate in user research and usability testing to help improve the product through every stage of the product life-cycle
- React to user and market data on a regular basis, aiding in application optimization efforts by building different design alternatives
- Engage with marketers and product marketers to enhance external materials with rich visualizations that simply and accurately convey concept topics
- Manage all aspect of projects, including scheduling, ensuring milestones are met, tracking UI/Usability issues, and making design recommendations
Requirements-
- Bachelors Degree in a similar area preferred
- A dynamic individual who thinks outside the box and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it done
- Maturity to strike a balance between showing initiative and seeking appropriate guidance and input from others
- Results-focused, proactive and detail-oriented
- Ability to define your vision for the project in a variety of ways – written, visually and verbally
- A mastery of web standards, user-centered design principles, knowledge of the software development process
- Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts
