Duties GENERAL DUTIES
FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT  
The Department of Humanities invites applications for a tenure track position as Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate courses in video production (narrative, documentary, TV studio production), Internet video, introduction to New Media, and screenwriting.

 

Student advisement, curriculum and program development, committee participation, active involvement in co-curricular media program activities, liaise with internship counselor, and ongoing professional development are required. Shared responsibilities include department assignments, including administrative, supervisory, and other functions.

Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MFA in video/film production and professional experience in the media/entertainment industry required.

 

Teaching experience at the college level is highly preferred. The ability to teach dynamically and cooperate with others for the good of the institution is required.
