Fanlime Editor

Fanlime’s mission is to forge a closer connection between the sports fans who aspire to access and emulate a way of life, and the athletes who inspire them.

Fanlime editors bring the content within our digital magazine to life by forging a strong connection with readers. The editorial team is responsible for developing and refining Fanlime’s unique voice: a voice that is defined its character, style/elegance, & authenticity.

Editors write concise descriptions of products across nine different categories: fashion, music, lifestyle, causes, vehicles, gear, tech, sports, & events. New versions of the digital magazine are released weekly. Occasionally, Fanlime will also have various featured segments that will need to be developed and executed by the editorial team.

As an editor, you are be part of a larger content team consisting of product curators and graphic designers and will report to Fanlime’s Editor-in-Chief.

Qualities

As a Fanlime Editor you should possess the qualities outlined below:

  • A talent and a passion for writing
  • An ability to be concise and impactful
  • A high attention to detail and a capacity to consistently meet deadlines.
  • A love for sports and knack for keeping up with latest happenings in the sports world
  • A knowledge of brands in the above categories, especially fashion, a big plus

You are creative, outgoing, and fun: an all-around good communicator.

Fanlime Fashionista 

Fanlime’s mission is to forge a closer connection between the sports fans who aspire to access and emulate a way of life, and the athletes who inspire them.

The Fanlime fashionista will assist the Editor-in-Chief in curating the best and most relevant fashion brands in the world for our readers. The Fashionista will leverage his or her knowledge of men’s fashion to:

1. Identify up-and-coming brands for Fanlime to explore potential partnerships.

2. Develop themes for the fashion category (Summer looks, Travel in style, etc).

3. Assist content team in selecting brands & products for fashion category themes.

4. Assist content team with copywriting when necessary to provide deeper inside & analysis on men’s looks and styles.

 

Qualities

  • As the Fanlime Fashionista you should possess the qualities outlined below:
  • An expertise and love of men’s fashion
  • A knowledge of up-and-coming niche brands
  • An ability to discuss and analyze the latest men’s styles
  • A talent for writing and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A passion for sports and understanding of its intersection with fashion a big plus

Fanlime Curator of Cool 

Fanlime’s mission is to forge a closer connection between the sports fans who aspire to access and emulate a way of life, and the athletes who inspire them.

The Fanlime curator of cool works within the larger content team to gather the highest quality content and introduce it into the app. Based on weekly themes developed by the Editor in Chief, the curator of cool gathers brand & product data (product images, descriptions, links, etc) across nine categories: music, fashion, lifestyle, events, gear, tech, causes, sports, & vehicles.

The Curator of Cool is also responsible for quality assurance (QA) of content before the weekly digital edition is published. Typical QA includes testing of links and images, and verifying product names and descriptions.

Qualities

As a Fanlime Curator of Cool you should possess the qualities outlined below:

  • A high attention to detail
  • Capacity to consistently meet deadlines
  • A basic (deeper is better) interest and understanding of the above product categories and the most relevant brands within them
  • Resourcefulness in using the internet (especially Google!) and experience with Microsoft Excel.
  •  A love for sports and knack for keeping up with latest happenings in the sports world a plus
