Seeking: Creative Tech Intern for a paid fall internship at Fake Love
Fake Love (www.fakelove.tv) is an award winning experiential design studio in DUMBO Brooklyn. We make art projects and custom projects for commercial brands. We rarely do the same kind of project twice, and are always exploring new ways of interaction and display from analog sculptures, large scale interactive projections, and intimate installations. We focus on the actual interactions and the experience of the things we make, and don’t just focus on new shiny tech.
We are looking for a talented technical person looking to learn more about this world of production, with a lot of hands on development and involvement with day to day projects, and collaboration with the in-house developer/technologist team. You won’t be getting coffee, you’ll be making stuff – it’s as much of a learning environment as you want it to be, and it requires a lot of self direction.

Time: 18-20 hours a week (or more)
Skills: Any mix of the following – OpenFrameworks/Cinder/C++ (A semester or more), Unity 3D, Hardware (Arduino – sensors, motors, lights, Kinect, displays, etc), Backend/Database dev. Some web skills are nice but we do not focus on web development at the moment.
A note about Processing – We tend not to use it in our large scale productions, so you will need skills outside of just Processing
