About Little Pim

Little Pim is the leading program for young children to learn a second language. Founder and CEO Julia Pimsleur is daughter of Dr. Paul Pimsleur, creator of the internationally acclaimed Pimsleur Method. Little Pim’s Entertainment Immersion Method® is an award-winning language program for the youngest learners, ages 0-6. The series has won 25 awards and is sold via Direct to Consumer, Retail and Licensing. Partners include PBS Kidsplay, LeapFrog, VTech, Toys R Us, and Mango Languages. Little Pim is available in 11 languages, is platform agnostic and can be viewed on screens of any size in any country. The project

Little Pim is expanding its online presence with an enhanced Early Learning portal so that parents, teachers, and children can interact with Little Pim products in new ways. We are seeking a designer to help our team craft an innovative, user-friendly website. The work can be done remotely. The desired rollout for the live site is late December/early January. We have a beta site and are looking to make improvements and add new functionality.

 

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience with UX mapping, wireframes, HTML, general web design
  • Ability to adhere to external and self-imposed deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor

 

Responsibilities

  • Design a functional, intuitive layout for an effective web learning portal
  • Communicate actively about progress, needs, and questions
  • Work remotely and on your own schedule
