Summer 2015 Internship Program at MoMA

 

The Museum of Modern Art is currently accepting applications for the Summer 2015 Internship Program.

 

Description:

The Summer 2015 Internship Program provides participants in-depth exposure to the workings of individual departments and practical and theoretical training in museum practices, and acquaints them with the role of museums in contemporary society. Working under the supervision of one of the Museum’s professional staff, interns contribute to timely projects, gain insight into the functions of individual departments, and learn about the Museum’s various collections, exhibitions, and programs for visitors.  Internship projects are based on Museum needs and requirements and are assigned to interns with the appropriate skills and interests.  This paid internship runs from June 1 through August 7, 2015.

 

Eligibility:

College students (one must have a minimum of two years of college completed by Summer 2015), recent graduates (both B.A. and M.A.), graduate students, and beginning museum professionals.  The Museum encourages candidates from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines to apply.  Summer internships Summer internships are full-time. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
