Most of our students live in dormitories on our 450-acre campus. We have110 full-tiine faculty members, 70% of whomhold advanced degrees and most of whom liveon campus in student residence halls. Our opportunity: We are currendy seeking aleader for our i.d.Lab, a multidisciplinary makerspace housed in the Lanphier Center forMathematics and Computer Science. The i.d.LabFacilitator will manage the use of the i.d.Lab andpromote the i.d.Lab philosophy throughout ourcampus: Preferred candidates will have:experience with designing and building usingvarious materials; educational and/or workexperience in multiple disciplines and theirapplications; and technical proficiency with CNCmachines, open-source 3D drawing software,microcontrollers and other maker technologies.
