Seeking Developer (must love bots)
Award-winning Brooklyn-based film production company seeks a developer proficient in Python and versed in natural language processing to join our team. We are developing an exciting new documentary series for HBO and looking for a creative collaborator to spearhead the creation of the show’s interactive component. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be part of a social experiment that will reach an audience of millions.
The position is not just a work for hire, but an invitation to join a fun, free-thinking creative workplace interested in the social and artistic potential of new technology. Proficiency in Python, experience with natural language processing e.g. NLTK, text-to-speech, chatbots, and human-machine interaction desired. A creative approach to algorithmic writing and an experimental spirit are a must.
The position will start in March with a full-time, month-long prototype phase, and will likely extend into production as we move toward a pilot and full series. Reimbursement commensurate with experience.
