Prudential is seeking a highly skilled senior visual designer to be involved in the future of the company’s vision.
Based in Midtown, Manhattan, you will be working with a cross-disciplinary team in a fantastic atmosphere creating the best visual experience on the web.
The Senior Visual Designer position requires strong digital design and production skills with focus on our Marketing, Product, and User Interface Design efforts.
Design of mobile applications is a huge plus.

This person must be able to take direction well, be team oriented, as well as take initiative. Expert level grasp of applicable software is required, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as a strong understanding of web technologies. Must have a very strong design portfolio, reflecting senior-level Web design experience and production skills
· Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of graphic and Web design, and usability, with a strong user-centered design orientation
· Understand responsive and mobile design constraints
· Aid in the design and development of new templates
· Deliver innovative, quality web design that is consistent with the brand, the overall design direction, and the goals of the company. Other deliverables may include marketing web pages, emails, image production, and application design
· Expert level production skills required, including attention to typography (tracking, leading), production, image optimization
· Partner with product and UX partners, translating business and marketing requirements into usable page layout designs that can be technically executed
Requirements:
Strong online portfolio required
· 6+ years online art direction and design experience
· Experience designing with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
· Experience working on multiple, highly-trafficked Web sites
· Exceptional organizational and analytic skills
· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Strong project and people management skills
· Ability to work under deadlines and within a dynamic environment
· Experience in HTML, Sketch, Axure, or other UX programs is a plus.
· Experience in Financial Services is a huge plus
· Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree in Design
